This series provides an introduction to clay followed by level one courses that dig a little deeper into primary hand building methods: Pinching, Coiling, & Slabbing

This pottery course will cover wheel fundamentals with each week focusing on one of 3 core skills - centering, opening and pulling.

Students will apply foundational clay hand building skills to create a one-of-a-kind nativity set featuring Mary, Joseph and the Christ Child.

Students will explore acrylic painting on canvas and watercolor painting on paper while learning color mixing, brush techniques and basic composition through guided projects.

Students will learn ceramic glazing techniques that affect color, texture & design. Through hands-on projects, they will build confidence in glaze application & observe its transformation in firing.
