Glass Fundamentals | Sampler

Service Description

This introductory series provides students with hands-on assembly using pre-cut samples of the design methods that will be featured throughout the Glass Fundamentals program: straight cuts, curved cuts and interior cutwork. Through guided projects, students will learn how different cutting styles influence glass construction, composition and overall design while observing live demonstrations of the tools and safety practices essential to glass fusion. By experimenting with the product of multiple approaches, students will build a curiosity that leads to confidence, improved control and development of the foundational skills needed for more advanced fused glass projects and independent studio work.
