Service Description

This hands-on series introduces students to the art and science of ceramic glazing through a variety of decorative methods and surface design approaches. Each class explores a different glazing style, allowing students to join for a single session or continue through the series while experimenting with color layering, masking, texture, specialty glazes and kiln-fired finishes. As students work through different applications and glaze combinations, they will develop a deeper understanding of how glaze reacts during firing, how surface choices affect finished results and how thoughtful design transforms functional pottery into expressive artwork. *Price shown is single drop-in rate for either first or second week.
