Agreement of Responsibility for Use of Step Up for Students Scholarship Funds

​Welcome to Art on Fire Studio. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our services, including our website, studio classes, events, and any other products or services offered by Art on Fire Studio (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
1. Purpose of Agreement
This Agreement establishes the responsibilities of the parent or guardian (“Participant”)
utilizing funds from the State of Florida’s Step Up for Students (SUFS) scholarship
program — including, but not limited to, the Personalized Education Program (PEP)
— to pay for educational services provided by Art on Fire Studio (“the Studio”).
By signing below, the Participant acknowledges understanding of how scholarship
funds may be applied and agrees to comply with all policies described herein.
2. Eligible Services
Art on Fire Studio provides creative educational experiences that may qualify for
reimbursement or direct payment through SUFS programs, such as:

Homeschool art enrichment classes

After-school educational programs

Summer or holiday art camps with a defined instructional component

Art materials and supplies used within an educational context
It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to verify that the desired class,
program, or purchase meets SUFS eligibility requirements prior to enrollment or
payment.
3. Payment Responsibility

All fees, deposits, and purchases at Art on Fire Studio are due in full at the time of registration unless prior written approval is granted by the Studio.

The parent or guardian remains fully responsible for all charges regardless of scholarship approval, denial, or reimbursement status.

In the event SUFS denies, delays, or reverses payment or reimbursement, the Participant agrees to remit full payment to Art on Fire Studio by another method within five (5) business days of notification.

All sales are final. Refunds cannot be issued once materials or instruction have been provided, regardless of scholarship determination.
4. Documentation and Receipts
Art on Fire Studio will provide itemized invoices or receipts upon request for
submission to SUFS.

It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to:

Submit all required documentation accurately and promptly;

Monitor the SUFS application or reimbursement portal for updates; and

Communicate directly with SUFS regarding any payment issues.
The Studio is not responsible for scholarship processing delays, portal errors, or
rejected submissions.
5. Program Attendance and Completion
Funds from SUFS may only be applied to educational programs that the student
actually attends and completes.

Failure to attend or complete the program — for any reason, including illness or
scheduling conflict — does not relieve financial responsibility.

No refunds or credits will be issued for missed sessions or cancellations.
6. Compliance with State and Studio Policies
Participants agree to abide by:

All SUFS program requirements and state regulations governing the use of scholarship funds; and

All Art on Fire Studio policies, including its Cancellation Policy, Code of Conduct, and Liability Waivers.
The Studio reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone found misusing
scholarship funds or violating Studio policies.
7. Agreement and Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that I have read and understood this Agreement of Responsibility and that I am personally responsible for all charges incurred at Art on Fire Studio, regardless of Step Up for Students’ payment decisions. I further acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure compliance with SUFS program rules and to communicate directly with the scholarship administrator regarding payment or eligibility questions.]
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
